We’re excited to show off our new wrap of our previously existing School Resource Officer vehicle! This is a special vehicle for both our school community and the Guilderland Police Department, and we wanted the design to reflect that connection.
The wrap incorporates the school logo and many of the Dutchmen elements, creating a unique look that represents the pride of our school district while still maintaining the professional appearance of a police vehicle.

A special thank you to WrapKingz for bringing the vision to life and doing an incredible job on the wrap.

We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to Efros Orthodontics for their generous donation in making this project possible.

We’re proud to have a vehicle that represents the partnership between our schools, students, families, and police department.

Today we recognize K9 Borreas and all of the incredible work he does alongside his handler, Officer Stevens.

A message from our Traffic Safety Unit

HOW TO DRIVE THROUGH A ROUNDABOUT

Roundabouts are designed to improve traffic flow and reduce serious crashes, but it's important that everyone knows how to use them safely.

Remember these key rules:

🔹 YIELD to vehicles already inside the roundabout before entering.

🔹 When it is safe and there is enough space, enter the roundabout and continue to your desired exit.

🔹 Do not stop inside the roundabout unless necessary to avoid a collision.

🔹 Always use your turn signal when exiting to let other drivers know your intentions.

Multi-Lane Roundabouts

Some roundabouts have two travel lanes and two exit lanes. In these locations:

✅ Choose the correct lane before entering based on your intended exit.

✅ Stay in your lane while traveling through the roundabout.

✅ If the roundabout is designed with dedicated exit lanes, you do not need to change lanes to exit.

Above all, drivers approaching a YIELD sign must always yield to traffic already in the roundabout. By following these simple rules and keeping traffic moving smoothly, we can all help make our roads safer for everyone.

Drive safely, stay alert, and remember: Yield, Enter, Continue, Exit

Thank you!
