Impact Player Profile: Guided Assistance Program ⛳

Life doesn't come with a roadmap, especially during times of uncertainty or transition. That's where our Guided Assistance Program comes in.

This program provides one-on-one support for individuals who need help navigating challenges, identifying resources, setting goals, and determining next steps. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, we work with each person to understand their unique situation and connect them with the support that best meets their needs.

The Guided Assistance Program plays an important role in helping community members move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Birdies for Charity is a fundraising program through the Travelers Championship that helps local nonprofits raise funds and awareness. It's an easy way to make an even greater impact with a gift you may already be planning to make.

For more than 30 years, Women & Family Life Center has been growing alongside our community.💙

Lately, we've been listening, learning, planning, and occasionally looking at each other and saying, "Okay... but what if we did this differently?"

Because support isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither are the people we serve. Across generations and across life's many chapters, we're committed to building support that reflects the realities of the people we serve today.

We're excited about what's taking shape, and we have a feeling our community is going to play a big part in it.

Whether you've attended a workshop, joined a support group, volunteered, partnered with us, supported an event, or simply followed along over the years, thank you for being part of this journey.

If you've called, visited, or worked with Women & Family Life Center lately, there's a good chance you've crossed paths with Emma.

We're incredibly lucky to have her on our team. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to jump in wherever needed help make W&FLC a better place for both our participants and staff. Whether she's offering support, advocating, connecting people with resources, or simply brightening someone's day, Emma brings so much to our community.💜

Starting May 29, Women & Family Life Center will begin our summer office hours through Labor Day. ☀️

Summer on the shoreline always brings a little extra sunshine, a little extra chaos, and calendars that somehow become more packed while everyone says they’re “slowing down.”

Our summer office hours will be:
• Monday – Thursday: 9 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 9 AM – 2 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Even with the seasonal shift in hours, our team continues to move important work forward behind the scenes. We’re excited to be strengthening and expanding the ways we support our community, including updates to our Guided Assistance Program and new participant support pathways we’re looking forward to launching this fall. 💙

Please review our updated hours before stopping by, calling, or scheduling appointments this summer. And as always, if you contact us outside of office hours, you can leave us a voicemail or send an email and our team will get back to you as soon as possible!

Women & Family Life Center will be closing at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 22 for Memorial Day weekend and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.
