Men’s awareness matters!
Award-winning attorney Mike Papantonio presented at the most recent Men’s Breakfast about the ways he fights trafficking by going after the big tech entities and hotel chains deemed to perpetuate the problem. His moving presentation, with jaw-dropping stats and facts, shined a light on the “hidden in plain sight” ways that perpetrators groom, manipulate, sell, and even auction off victims. Thank you, Mr. Papantonio, for being a warrior in this fight.

The Dirty Dozen List is an annual campaign that calls out 12 mainstream entities for facilitating, enabling, and even profiting from s*xual abuse and exploitation. The Dirty Dozen List galvanizes individuals like YOU to call on corporations, government agencies, and organizations to change problematic policies and practices. This campaign has yielded major victories at Google, Netflix, TikTok, Hilton Worldwide, Verizon, Walmart, US Department of Defense, and many more.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children: out of more than 29,000 cases, 1 in 7 of those were likely victims of child s*x trafficking.

Traffickers prey on the vulnerable. They are masters at detecting them, filling their needs, creating dependency, and then twisting the situation for their own gain.

We have all been vulnerable. Reflect on a time when you were vulnerable physically and/or emotionally. How open were you to manipulation at that time? These memories move us to compassion for victims and survivors of s*xual exploitation.
