There have been a lot of questions about mail in absentee ballots for the Primary Runoff Election. Message FMPAC if you have questions & we’ll do our best to find the answer.
You may also call Brenda at 251-937-0379 with Questions concerning absentee early voting.

The link above is the application to request your absentee ballot. Once a registered voter receives their ballot, complete all required information, have it properly witnessed, and return it before the deadline.

Because this is a quick election timeline, please plan ahead and allow enough time for delivery. If mailing close to the deadline, consider using a commercial carrier (such as FedEx) with tracking to help confirm delivery.

Absentee ballots must be received in Bay Minette by Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Noon.

Make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted.

As we head deep into this election season, Fort Morgan is at an important moment. Once every four years we have an opportunity to vote for our leaders.

Recent efforts reminded us that the character of our community is not something we can take for granted. It takes leaders who listen, respect our zoning, and believe in a balanced, thoughtful path forward.

We’re grateful for those who stood with the community

Important Dates to Remember:
~ June 3, 2026 - Sample Ballot should be available on AL Secretaty of State’s website.
~ June 9, 2026 - Last Day to apply for an Absentee Ballot by mail.
~ June 11, 2026 - Last Day to apply for your Absentee Ballot in person (Bay Minette Courthouse)
~ June 16 @ Noon - Deadline for Absentee Ballots returned by mail.
~ June 16, 2026 - Run-off Election (FMVFD Station 1)

TG- “The County Commission impacts your everyday life. They approve or deny rezoning and subdivision cases, can slow down the over-development, in turn effectuating less congested traffic, less overcrowded schools, less water runoff causing flooding, reduce sprawl into the countryside, not overwhelming police, fire department, emergency services for disasters, have a part in your taxes, your building codes, your way of life. I hope you vote for the more conservative choice, or things will continue as they have, which I don’t think is good for Baldwin County. Vote Brett Gaar on June 16th.

In short, Commissioners control the county budget, set policies on growth and land use, fund public services, and make decisions that directly affect roads, taxes, safety (funding the Sheriff’s Office), and development in one of Alabama’s fastest-growing counties. In District 4 (southern Baldwin). The commissioner has particular influence on coastal/tourism-related issues like infrastructure, zoning, and beach-area growth.”

Outside influence in Election:

When you see a candidate with a significant numbers of television commercials or ads on the internet you can be assured that he/she is being funded by special interest groups in Atlanta, Birmingham and Montgomery. These groups have selected the candidate in order to further their special interest. These special interests include developers, builders, gamblers and many others which intend to purchase influence in Montgomery to make money. These candidates are beholding to these groups and not the residents of Baldwin County. Please consider this when you vote tomorrow.
