We can’t say it enough… it’s happening in our backyards.
Please please continue spreading the word that Human Trafficking is real! We must continue educating everyone and let these predators know it’s not going to be tolerated.

BREAKING: A 66-year-old Biloxi man was convicted last week of two counts of sexual battery of a child and touching of a child for lustful purposes, District Attorney W. Crosby Parker announced.

Circuit Court Judge Randi P. Mueller sentenced David Patrick Burkart to two consecutive life sentences plus 15 years to be served in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Officials said Burkart was 64 when he met the 13-year-old victim online and agreed to meet at the victim’s home, about a block from the Harrison County Courthouse in Gulfport. >>> https://www.wlox.com/2026/09/23/biloxi-man-sentenced-life-child-sexual-battery-after-meeting-victim-online/

Victims may not realize they are being trafficked.
Control can be disguised as love, affection, protection, opportunity, or survival.

Officer Kyle Craig is doing another vital training on Human Trafficking to soon to be New Officers. 💙

This information is important to help the fight against Human Trafficking! These officers have been equipped to look for the signs and how to properly assist those being trafficked.

We’d like to THANK Officer Kyle for always going the extra mile (literally) to ensure education and training happens.
