🌟 GivHer Circle Spotlight: AMBER OLSEN, CHAMPION MEMBER 🌟

Amber Olsen has built a life of leadership, advocacy, and purpose on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

As owner of Nextaff Gulf Coast, she helps businesses find the right talent while creating opportunities for people to grow in their careers.

Her heart for service also extends into rare disease advocacy. Inspired by her daughter Willow’s journey with Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency, Amber founded the United MSD Foundation (Cure MSD) to raise awareness, support families, and help advance the work toward a cure.

Whether she's leading in business, serving families, or creating space for hope and awareness, Amber leads with strength, compassion, and purpose.

Welcome to the Circle, Amber!

What happens when people who care deeply about Jackson County gather around the same table? Great conversations, new possibilities, and a shared vision for the future!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Mississippi to learn more about the vision for a Jackson County Community Affiliate. Special thanks to GCCF Board members Christian Hartley and Mary Martha Henson for joining the discussion! Together, we explored how a community affiliate can help keep local generosity working in Jackson County for generations to come.

Since 1989, GCCF has invested more than $114 million across South Mississippi, including more than $7.2 million in Jackson County. Our first community affiliate, the Stone County Community Endowment Fund, was established in 2023.

πŸ’« Young Philanthropist Cohort Spotlight: KELLY DEVINE

Kelly calls Gulfport home, and Gulfport feels that.

An outreach and events specialist for Singing River Health System and the artist behind Devine Perks Pottery, she holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Business Administration and serves on boards for the Gulfport Arts Center, Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and Let's Go! Gulf Coast.

At our recent Cohort graduation dinner, Kelly dedicated her seat to her mother, the woman who never stopped believing in her, even when she was not quite sure which direction Kelly was headed. That kind of love builds leaders. And here she is.

Kelly, your story is a beautiful reminder of what encouragement can grow into.
