On January 29. 2026 at West Harrison High school in Gulfport, VFW Post 2539 Commander Charles Purchner and Post Jr. Vice Commander Keith Johnson presented Dr. Tiffani Pollard a certificate and check for winning the Post Teacher of the year award for VFW Post 2539.

We’re excited to cheer on the nationally ranked Gulf Coast Warriors Youth Football Team, part of the Gulf Coast Youth Sports Association right here in Gulfport, MS!

Our partnership has helped the team gear up with new equipment, uniforms, and practice gear — giving these amazing young athletes everything they need to shine on and off the field. 🌟

The Warriors include players ages 5–13, competing in 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions — all showing incredible teamwork, dedication, and heart every game. 💪

We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments so far and can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings. Let’s go Warriors! 🖤💙
