Gunnison County is currently in STAGE 1 FIRE RESTRICTIONS, along with most federally managed lands within Gunnison County.

In addition, a 🚩RED FLAG WARNING🚩 has been issued for SATURDAY, June 20th, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

➡️During a Red Flag Warning, there is NO OPEN BURNING, and the only fires that are allowed are in liquid or gas-fueled devices with shut-off valves.
➡️No other burning or campfires of any type are permitted during Red Flag Warning hours.
➡️During other times of the day, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions apply.

➡️SW Gunnison County- bordering Ouray County near Cimmaron Ridge
➡️West Central Gunnison County- north of Morrow Point Reservoir
➡️NW Gunnison County- near the Somerset and Paonia Reservoir areas
