There’s always a lot happening during a school day at GMS, and today was no exception!
In addition to a busy day of learning, GMS successfully completed a fire drill, with students and staff responding quickly and safely before returning to the building to continue their day.
Great job by the entire GMS team for executing the drill so smoothly and keeping safety a top priority!

Last night, GMS Yearbook student Max Booth was already hard at work behind the camera! He captured some of our middle school students showing off their Tiger spirit at the football scrimmage—and you may just spot a few of these faces in this year’s yearbook!
We love seeing our Yearbook Staff out and about, capturing the moments, memories, and school spirit that tell the story of our year.

GMS Meet the Teacher is Tonight!

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Middle School tonight! To help the evening run smoothly, please take note of a few important details:
Doors Open at 5:30 PM: (Please note that doors will not open prior to 5:30 PM 😀).
Brief Parent Meetings: We will host a short presentation in the cafeteria at the start of each session (please note this update from the previous parent letter):
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Last names M–Z (Principal’s address at 5:30 PM)
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Last names A–L (Principal’s address at 6:30 PM)
Teacher Availability: Some of our staff members have students of their own and will be attending Meet the Teacher as parents tonight. If a teacher is away from their room, their syllabus and a list of their favorite things will be available inside or right outside their classroom.
High School Elective Teachers: Elective teachers whose primary classrooms are at the high school will be located in or around the middle school cafeteria so you can stop by and meet them.
We look forward to seeing everyone tonight!
