Gunter Volleyball kicked off their fundraiser this week! All funds raised go back to the Gunter Volleyball Booster Club to purchase team meals, uniforms, equipment, and fun extra items to make our seasons special. These donations are tax deductible and support all middle school and high school teams. Thank you for the support of GTVB! 💙🏐🐯

Sales deadline for ordering a yearbook at the current price ends 10/2. After that date, the price increases $5.00.

The deadline for ordering senior recognition ads is 11/13.

Who says children’s books are just for littles?

9th grade English students are taking a closer look at the elements of literature by analyzing some of their favorite stories from childhood. Sometimes, the best way to understand complex literary concepts is to start with a story that makes them easy to see!

A huge thank you to the GES & GMS libraries with helping to find the perfect books for this project and reminding us that great stories can teach us a lot—no matter what age they were written for.

Exciting news! 🇺🇸
Gunter Elementary and Gunter Middle School were just named 2026–2028 Purple Star Campuses!

Earning this designation is a major accomplishment. It signifies that our schools are fully prepared to serve military-connected youth by offering:

-Dedicated campus-based military liaisons to assist families during transitions.

-Specialized support and resources tailored to the unique challenges of military life

-A welcoming environment that honors and celebrates our service members and their children.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this message so we can recognize the hard work of our GES and GMS staff and show our appreciation for our military families!
