Cherokee Elementary had some high-flying fun yesterday!

Thanks to our Cherokee PTO, The Freestyle Connection BMX Show visited campus and put on an incredible performance for our students. From impressive tricks to big jumps, our students loved every minute of it!

A big thank you to our PTO for making experiences like this possible for our students!

🚲🐾 Something BIG is coming to CES this week!

On Thursday, August 27, CES PTO is bringing the GO BIG BMX Air Show to Cherokee! Our Wildcats will get to watch professional BMX athletes perform incredible tricks while sharing positive messages about kindness and standing up to bullying.

Programs like this are exactly what PTO memberships, fundraisers and our generous community sponsors help bring to CES, creating special experiences that enrich the school day for every Wildcat!

We can’t wait for the kids to experience this one! ❤️🐾

🏈🐾 TOMORROW: GAME DAY STARTS AT THE WILDCAT CART!

Our first Wildcat Cart of the year rolls out tomorrow - Friday, August 21! Students can shop during the school day for fun Wildcat spirit gear, with items ranging from $1–$8.

💵 Send money in the Wildcat Cart envelope that came home in backpacks or in a labeled Ziploc bag with your student's name on it.

We can’t wait to see our Wildcats shopping for a little extra school spirit! ❤️🐾

Students learned about the sun and crayons, then used the high heat index to create their own solar art. A fun way to turn a hot Alabama day into a hands-on learning experience!
