Gurnee D56 is committed to student success, and consistent attendance is a key part of achieving it. When students miss school, they miss valuable instruction, peer collaboration, and critical learning experiences that impact their academic success.

September is Attendance Awareness Month and throughout the month, we’ll be sharing information to raise awareness and strengthen partnerships with our staff, students, and families to build strong attendance habits for students.

It was a great first week of reconnecting and learning at River Trail School! Students learned the expectations for bathroom, hallway, lunchroom and classroom behavior. We are so happy to have our Vikings back in school!
