This donation represents the strength of our community and the incredible support behind our annual Outrun the Cops charity run. Every registration, every donation, and every participant helped make this possible.

Because of you, we’re able to continue supporting the Advocacy Center and the vital work they do for children and families in our community.

And we’re ready to do it again.

Our officers are gearing up to row their hearts out at CrossFit UXO and your donations will determine just how hard they work!

They’ve been talking big all week…now it’s time to see if they can back it up on the row machines. 😅

That means your support directly fuels their effort and helps local kids enjoy a holiday they may not otherwise have.

🚓💪 Officers Are Rowing for a Cause! 💪🚓

We’re teaming up with CrossFit UXO for a fun and meaningful holiday fundraiser, and we need you to put our officers to the test!

This Sunday, our officers are trading in their uniforms for workout gear and hopping on row machines to help local kids experience a holiday they may not otherwise have. 🎁✨

Here’s how it works:
For every $0.75 donated, our officers will row 1 calorie.
Think our officers train hard? Let’s see just how far we can push them! 😅

Your $30 donation = 40 calories rowed!
(And trust us…they’re ready for the burn.)

The more the community donates, the harder our officers work...all to support kids right here at home. Let’s rally together and make this our best holiday season yet!

🎄✨ The holiday season is here, and we’re feeling extra grateful! ✨🎄

All year long, we’ve been raising funds for our annual Shop with a Cop program, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing community partners.

Today, we want to give a special shout-out to El Durango, a local, family-owned Mexican restaurant that has joined us for several events this year. They’ve generously donated proceeds from their events to help make this year’s Shop with a Cop program extra special for the children in our community.

Thanks to donations like this, children in our community will have the chance to shop for gifts and experience the joy of the season with a Gurnee Police Officer by their side.🌟

🚓 🏀 Mark Your Calendars for a Great Cause! 🏀 🚓

Join us on Saturday, October 25th at Warren Township High School Almond Campus for a community event you won’t want to miss!

🔥 We’re kicking things off with a Shop with a Cop 2025 Pre-Game Fundraiser from 10 AM – 12 PM in the parking lot! Come “Splash the Badge” by dunking one of our Gurnee officers, try your luck with raffle prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and grab some delicious food from El Durango — with all proceeds supporting Shop with a Cop.

🏀 Then head inside for the Heroes & Hoops Charity Basketball Game starting at 12 PM, where Police Officers will go head-to-head with the one and only Tristan Jass and his team! Admission is just one nonperishable food item, which will benefit the Warren Township Food Pantry.

It’s a full day of fun, food, and friendly competition, all while giving back to our community. We can’t wait to see you there! 💙👮‍♂️

Gurnee’s wildest charity run is back on Saturday, June 28th – and it’s your chance to sprint, jog, or strut in a 5K or 10K that starts and ends at the Gurnee Police Department. 👟
