It’s going to be hot 🥵. Hottest day of the year so far. Also going to be very humid. Stay hydrated if working outside and take frequent breaks . Could have a few storms possible as well later this evening.

5-28-26 Updated Weather Information for possible storms this coming Friday and Saturday.

Not everyone will see storms, but the ones that do could have hail and gusty winds. Tornado threat is low but not 0. Monitor weather and have ways to receive alerts.

Weekly Weather Update: An unsettled weather pattern will persist into this week with a daily chance of storms and slightly above-normal temperatures. Daily showers and storms are possible throughout the week and into the weekend with capability of producing locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and small hail threat.

Today 5-19-26 we had the Logan County Health Department help instruct and teach the Logan County Dist 2 crew get their AED/CPR certification. We continue to hold training throughout the year for all of our county workers to attend. We hope they never need to use these skills but are glad they are confident and comfortable to use them if needed.
We have others classes scheduled for the other district barns and the other county employees.

Good Monday Morning, 5-18-26

Today is another day of possible severe weather. We could have two chances or two different waves come through.

The first wave would be this late afternoon evening if storms can break through the cap.

The second chance would be late this evening into the overnight early morning hours on Tuesday.

Main threat would be large hail and damaging winds. Tornado threat low to medium.

Stay weather aware today and have multiple ways to receive alerts.
