Come out Wednesday for lunch and dinner buffet! Sooner Fire helped over 150 families last year with filled backpacks,clothing and shoes to start the school year off. This year our goal is 200 families. Please come out and support us in our efforts to make this happen. Thank you for supporting Sooner Fire Department!

The Sooner Fire Department would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended our yard sale this past weekend. We were touched by the community's kindness and enthusiasm, and we valued the chance to connect with everyone. We also congratulate Tim Lawson on his raffle basket win and hope that his grandkids enjoy their treats. We appreciate everything and everyone that continue to show up and support us. We hope everyone has a happy and safe week and please remember to stay hydrated.

Good afternoon. Sooner's weekend was filled with a variety of activities, beginning with our 5th annual Chilli cookout, which was a resounding success. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the community for their participation and support. We look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming events. Our appreciation also extends to Tracy Mcmillan and her auxiliary team for their outstanding contributions. We concluded our weekend with our monthly training, focusing on wildland fundamentals. Captain Greggory Lowry's instruction and guidance were invaluable. We would also like to acknowledge our officers, Layden Hendrix , Josh Emmons , Andy Daniels, and Jeffery Ware Jr., for their leadership and expertise. The tireless efforts of our Chiefs, Jeffrey Ware, Mike Wells , and William Ashline, are also deserving of recognition. Nonetheless, our most sincere gratitude is reserved for the Logan County community, whose support is the foundation of our efforts. Here are a few pictures from today's training. Thank you for all your support! Our chili cookoff was a success! Winners were Austin Wells,Cheraki Breeden and Will Ashline.There were 9 pots of Chili! Our 50/50 winner was Steven and he chose to donate it back to our station,thank you Steven! Also thank you to the VFW for allowing us to use their facilities.Auxiliary is working hard and has a full year of events lined up. As always,Thank you for supporting our men and women who work and train hard to keep you safe!

Good morning everyone, Yesterday Sooner hosted a training exercise with our colleagues from Twin Lakes Fire, concentrating on auto extrication techniques. We reviewed procedures for safely handling auto accidents, refined our skills using specialized tools, and emphasized the importance of clear communication among team members during emergency responses. Our team is dedicated to ongoing professional development, ensuring that we consistently provide the highest level of service to our community.
