There was a time I believed my life was already mapped out like I was only moving through pages someone else had designed.

For a long time, I waited for life to decide where I was going. I thought I had no control, like I was just a character in someone else's story. So I kept holding on to old chapters, even when they no longer made me feel alive. But then I understood, I was holding the pen all along. I didn’t have to stay in places that made me feel small. I could write something new, something softer, something stronger. I could leave behind the things that hurt me, not because they didn’t matter, but because I deserved better endings.

It wasn't easy to turn the page. There were doubts, fears, days when I missed the comfort of the familiar. But slowly, I started choosing myself. I started writing from hope instead of pain, from growth instead of fear. Every step forward became part of a story I was proud to tell. Now I know this life is mine to shape. And even when I don’t know what’s next, I trust myself to keep writing. Because the story only gets better from here.

Now I know the past is a chapter, not the whole book. And every time I turn the page, I find more of who I truly am. 📖
