2019 deployment to down state OK!

Isolated severe storms are once again expected this afternoon and evening across all but the far western Panhandles. The main risk with these storms will be very large hail, followed by lightning and damaging winds. Additionally, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, with a relatively higher risk across the eastern two thirds of the Oklahoma Panhandle and far northeastern Texas Panhandle.

Thunderstorms should form by 3pm in northeast New Mexico and Southeast Colorado and move east-southeastward across the Oklahoma and northern Texas Panhandles through the afternoon and into the evening. Storms should exit the region by midnight. Large hail and damaging winds will be possible with the storms.
