The MES CURE Committee is hosting a Coin Drive for CURE Childhood Cancer from October 20–30! Send in coins with your student to help us reach our schoolwide goal of $1,000 while supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.
The three grade levels that collect the most coins will earn these fun rewards:
1st Place: Popcorn, a movie, and dress-down day!
2nd Place: Extra recess, chalk, and a picnic lunch!
3rd Place: Popsicles, pajamas, and a board game day!

If we reach our $1,000 goal, one student from each grade level will get to pie a CURE Team member in the face!

Every coin counts! Thank you for helping our Mustangs make a difference!

Our Marlow cafeteria was full of circus fun this past week as we celebrated National School Lunch Week! From festive decorations to special themed meals, our amazing cafeteria staff went above and beyond to make lunchtime a fun experience for our Mustangs!

A huge shoutout to our wonderful cafeteria crew for all the hard work, love, and care they put into feeding our Mustangs each and every day!

Our Literati Book Fair is October 15–23! Get ready for “Campfire Magic” and discover some wonderful new books!
Students will have the opportunity to shop with their class. Your child’s homeroom teacher will share the specific date and time of their class visit. Families are also invited to shop on Tuesday, October 20, from 5:30–7:00 PM during Marlow’s Not-So-Spooky Literacy Night.

This year, our Book Fair is 100% CASHLESS! Cash and checks will not be accepted. Purchases can be made using Literati Gift Cards or credit or debit cards.

Mrs. Marshall’s kindergarten class went on a shape hunt this morning!

Students explored the playground to find the 2D shapes they’ve been learning about in class. What a fun way to see how shapes are all around us!

Our Marlow teachers and staff are mixing up a little Halloween fun before fall break! A big thank you to our staff who brought in all the goodies to create this festive trail mix bar. We love seeing our Mustang family come together to make the little moments special! 🧡

Mark your calendars! Marlow Elementary will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 26–30! This year’s theme is “Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.” Throughout the week, students are invited to participate in special dress-up days as we celebrate making healthy, drug-free choices!

Monday, 10/26 – Capes On, Drugs Out: Powered by Healthy Choices!
Wear a comic book superhero shirt or cape with uniform bottoms.

Tuesday, 10/27 – Train Like a Hero, Play Clean, Live Drug-Free!
Wear a shirt or jersey for your favorite athlete or team with uniform bottoms.

Wednesday, 10/28 – Inspired by Real Heroes, Powered by Drug-Free Choices!
Dress like a hero in your life with uniform bottoms! This could be a family member, teacher, coach, or another special person.

Thursday, 10/29 – Extinguish Drugs, Ignite Your Potential!
Wear uniform bottoms and a color representing a first responder: red for firefighters/EMTs, blue for police officers, white for healthcare personnel, or camo for military personnel.

Friday, 10/30 – Super Costumes, Heroic Minds, Healthy Choices All the Time!
Students may wear a costume to school! No masks or hair dye/coloring.

We can’t wait to see our Mustangs show their spirit and celebrate Red Ribbon Week!

Tuesday was another fun day of celebrating Pre-K Week! Our Pre-K students enjoyed a special visit from guest reader Mrs. Hartzog! We are so thankful she took the time to visit and share her love of reading with our littlest Mustangs!
