Last week, Ms. Rode’s 4th graders learned about different types of clouds! Students created their very own clouds using shaving cream. It was a fun and engaging way to bring their science lesson to life while making learning memorable!

Tomorrow is picture day! Students are welcome to dress down, though all outfits must follow the ECSD student handbook guidelines. Proof packets will be sent home a few weeks after picture day so you can review the photos and order your favorite packages!

Learning math can be delicious! Miss Hope’s 1st grade students used animal crackers to graph, compare, and order numbers. They answered questions about their data, made meaningful connections, and strengthened their math skills—all while having a tasty hands-on learning experience!

Mrs. Philbeck’s class worked collaboratively to construct thoughtful questions about their text and then used text evidence to find and support their answers! Great teamwork, thoughtful questions, and strong evidence make for great learning!

Students in Mrs. Kennedy’s math classes had a hands-on learning experience during our graphing lesson! Students sorted their M&M’s and Skittles, then used a tally table and line plot to organize and represent their data!

Yesterday in STEM, Ms. Alyssa’s class read Dream It Up and then put their creativity and teamwork to work! Students worked together to create models of structures inspired by the book while sharing ideas, solving problems, and building as a team!
