When pipes and trails combine, what do you get? Here in Eagle County, it's the new Minturn Pedestrian Bridge. What started as a project to replace an aging sewer main across the Eagle River led to the creation of a new pedestrian/bicycling bridge and trail system extension for the community. Check out this video showcasing the newest addition, a joint project led by the Eagle River Water & Sanitation District with contributions from Eagle County and the Town of Minturn.

Through multi-agency cooperation, a sewer line is replaced and another piece of the Eagle Valley Trail is opened!

DON'T MISS IT- Vail Pass Trail Clean Up- THIS Friday June 18th 8am- 12:30pm.

Come help us clean up the beautiful bike path on Vail Pass. Lunch, sweet socks, and prizes will be provided.

Bring gloves, water, and sun protection. Meet at the Lionshead Welcome Center on East Lionshead Circle at 8am on Friday June 18th. We will provide safety vests and trash bags. The Town of Vail will provide a bus that will drop folks off in small groups along the trail and the small eastbound rest area (where the trucks park). After a few hours of cleaning, everyone will be picked up and transported to the Black Lakes area near the top of the pass for a picnic lunch. After lunch, the bus will return all volunteers to the Lionshead parking structure.

This is a family friendly clean up, so feel free to bring the youngsters! Hope to see you out there!
