🚧 NOW HIRING – FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEE 🚧

The City of Gypsum is accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Employee.

Responsibilities include:
• Street and alley maintenance
• Mowing and groundskeeping
• Park and public property maintenance
• Snow removal
• Equipment operation
• General maintenance and repair of city facilities and infrastructure

Applicants must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required.

Pay and benefits will be discussed during the interview process and are based on qualifications and experience.

Applications are available at City Hall. Position will remain open until filled.

Due to the storm earlier this week the sewer cleaning will be postponed until August.. Will update with dates as we get closer!

Salina Waste just got their phones up and going. They will be here to pick up as much as they can get to tomorrow and Friday. If they don’t get to you either day they will be back regular time next week and will get any extras they can!

Due to the recent storm, we are currently working to address issues with the water system. We ask all residents to please limit water usage until repairs are complete.

Due last night storm and over 2 inches of rain please do not take tree limbs and debris down to the burn pit just yet. It is all muddy down there!

The City will be performing sewer line cleaning on Friday the 12th, Monday, and Tuesday.

If your property is located in an affected area, please take the following precautions:
• Cover all floor drains with plastic and place weights on top
• Keep all toilets covered

Residents who will be impacted will receive a yellow notification sticker on their door.
If you do not receive a sticker, this notice does not apply to your property.
