Former Wedgeworth first Chinese Dual Immersion Program class/Class of 2021 (Highschool) had another reunion. I am so proud of these students and their parents!

13 years ago, I started a Chinese Dual Immersion Program at Wedgeworth as a second year principal from LAUSD with the district’s blessing. My first CDIP kinders, their parents, teacher Mrs. Millie Au Yeung, bilingual aide Mrs. Amily Muck, the rest of the staff, PTA president Mrs. Katharina Lam and the Board, were truly amazing! CDIP couldn’t have thrived without them, and I will hold them dear to my heart forever.
I am so blessed to still have many families from WW in my life. Those tiny but mighty Kinders finally graduated from highschool this year and invited me to their reunion today. Thanks, Madeleine, for organizing this!
Warriors, congratulations! May your future be brighter than ever! I will be rooting for you always! 👍💝 (Everyone in these photos were vaccinated)
