Sometimes people don’t recognize sexual abuse right away. It doesn’t always look like what we see in movies or hear about in the media.
Sometimes it’s quiet, confusing, even normalized.

It can look like pressure, guilt, and feeling like you “should” instead of actually wanting to.

Consent should always be:
✔️ Freely given
✔️ Ongoing
✔️ Respected

If something didn’t feel right, that matters. You’re not overreacting, and you’re not alone.

✨Conflict is normal. Harm is not.

Sometimes what we’ve learned to accept in relationships isn’t actually healthy—it’s just familiar. This is your reminder that you deserve communication, accountability, and respect… even during conflict.

Healthy relationships don’t silence you, blame you, or make you question your worth. They make space for your voice, your needs, and your safety🫂

Swipe➡️for a reality check on what’s actually normal in relationships.

You deserve more than just “getting through” conflict—you deserve to feel safe in it💜

✨SWIPE to see the three relationship stages➡️

Every relationship goes through different stages, each with their own highs and lows. Disagreements and changing emotions can happen, but healthy relationships are built on respect, communication, and feeling safe to be yourself.

Understanding these stages can help us recognize the difference between normal challenges and unhealthy patterns💜

Digital consent isn’t just about saying yes:
•It’s about emotional safety.
•It’s about power dynamics.
•It’s about freedom from pressure.
•And it’s about understanding that online content can outlive the relationship.

Teen dating violence doesn’t always look physical. Sometimes it looks like pressure, screenshots, or threats.

Love should never depend on fear.

Healthy relationships leave room for ✨choices✨
You get to choose.
You get to have opinions.
You get to change your mind.
You get to say no.
And you don’t have to be afraid when you do.

Love should feel safe, not stressful.
It should protect your voice, not silence it.

We must remind young people of this because so many are taught to keep the peace, stay quiet, or prioritize someone else’s feelings over their own comfort. But healthy love makes room for choice, every single time💜

If you’ve ever found yourself questioning your relationship, you’re not alone💭
Healthy relationships are built on respect, trust, and support—not fear, control, or anxiety.

You deserve:
✨ To say no without fear
✨ To have privacy and time for yourself
✨ To feel supported, not controlled

Trust what your body and instincts are telling you.
Healthy love should feel safe. Always💜

February is 🧡

Did you know 1 in 3 teens experience dating abuse while in high school? These experiences can shape how young people view relationships, boundaries, and self-worth.

That’s why education matters. When we talk openly with teens about healthy relationships, consent, respect, and warning signs of abuse, we give them the tools to recognize unhealthy behaviors and seek support early.

Prevention starts with awareness—and together, we can help stop teen dating violence before it starts💜

We know students and teachers are already seeing dating abuse in their schools—often normalized, misunderstood, or hard to name. Sometimes it shows up subtly, sometimes in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming.

That’s why our Prevention Through Education (PTE) program creates space for honest, age-appropriate conversations about healthy relationships, boundaries, consent, and recognizing harmful behaviors early.
Prevention is possible when young people are given the language, tools, and support before harm escalates💜

If someone’s behavior feels intrusive, controlling, or frightening — you’re not overreacting.
Stalking can take many forms, both in person and online, and it often escalates over time.

You deserve safety, privacy, and peace. Help is here when you’re ready💜💛
