PARK ADVISORY: On Friday 4/24, the day use area of Stephens State Park will be closed for paving along our one-way entrance road. Campers, please park at your campsite and call the park office upon arrival for check-in. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

Due to the impending winter storm, all New Jersey State Parks, Forests & Historic Sites will close to visitors at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Existing camping reservations will be honored, however campers should be prepared for the conditions.

Parks will reopen to visitors for winter activities once maintenance crews complete snowplowing operations.

PARK ADVISORY: Next Wednesday, August 20th Stephens State Park day use area will be CLOSED for a paving project on Park Road. Campers with reservations may still enter the campground but the day use area will not be accessible to vehicles. Please call the office for more details

River cleanup along the Musconetcong by Troop 54 from Phillipsburg after overnight camping - 13 scouts and 3 adults. Multiple bags of trash were collected including a tire! Three local families were here and volunteered to help with the cleanup. Many thanks to the Scouts and their leaders! 👏
