Bulk Trash Collection Dates 2026

At the August Business Meeting, the Commissioners adopted changes to the Solid Waste Collection Ordinance, effective September 1, 2026.

Bulk Collection will now take place the second full week of each month. Residents may place out two items per month, each weighing no more than 50 pounds and no longer than seven feet.

Bulk Collection Dates for 2026

• Week of September 14

• Week of October 12

• Week of November 9

• Week of December 14

There will be no more courtesy “move‑out” collections. Homeowners and residents are responsible for discarding items during a move.

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, the Haddon Fire Company No. 1 will host a Remembrance Service at 8:30 am on 9/11 at the firehouse. Fire Chaplain Rev. Dr. Chris Heckert will lead the service with Haddonfield faith leaders participating.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

New Jersey American Water will be flushing water mains in Haddonfield from 8/31/2026 through 9/20/2026. Flushing will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.
During flushing, residents may experience reduced water pressure or discolored water. If discoloration occurs, run cold water only at the lowest level of your home for 3–5 minutes until it clears, and avoid doing laundry during that time.

The bench and historical marker at The Point on Ellis Street were damaged in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday. Borough staff are coordinating repairs.
