I’m sure many of you know Haddonfield Board Of Education members and may be wondering why there is silence on social media. By policy, The Haddonfield School district and the Haddonfield Board of education do not comment and engage in social media conversations, via posts, to explain policy and practices.

In between much of this hyperbole are some excellent questions, many of which have been addressed during board meeting over the past two to three months.

This Board and Administration are very thorough, transparent and responsive. I encourage you to attend the meetings to observe some of the excellent presentations from the administration which explain the philosophy, process and systems to ensure that we are working towards our districts newly adopted mission statement and strategic goals. Many of those presentations, and follow up Q&A, speak directly to the very concerns you’ve discussed here.

On behalf of the BOE, we are honored to serve this engaged community and are working very diligently to move the district forward.

Thank you for re-electing me to the Haddonfield Board of Ed. I’ve repeated this sentiment for weeks: Haddonfield doesn’t lose in this school board election.

We have four fantastic candidates with varied gifts and talents to offer our board. Thank you to all for running and the hundreds of people who worked as volunteers and on a professional basis to get information out to the public. I want to offer a special thank you to my team for their many hours and efforts believing in the work I have been doing.

This work has been an honor and being a part of the election process is really exciting even at this very local level. Thanks to all who voted today across our borough, state and country.
