The Association would like to congratulate chief spanknebel on his retirement today from the Hadley fire department. As well as for his leadership and everything he has done for us and the town for the last 27 years. We would also like to thank the Amherst and Northampton fire departments for covering calls in town so all the members of the call force and full time force could attend chief Spanknebels retirement party this evening

While the Memorial Day Parade is cancelled due to rain, the American Legion Members will still honor fallen veterans at each of the towns cemeteries.

The Hadley Firemens Association mourns the passing of master police officer John Robitaille. John has been a staple of the Hadley Police department for 26 years and he will be truely missed. We keep John's family as well as the Hadley Police Department in our thoughts this holiday season. Rest easy John.
