We are doing a to the year 2000!🎥

This old educational video highlights many familiar places to todays’s visitors. Over the past two decades, these units became one state park and we have grown in many ways, but the efforts to enjoy & protect our springs stayed true.💙💧

What’s your favorite memory of our park?

We could give you 1,000 reasons why we love our park, and the sunsets are one of them.💛🌅

A perfect day at Thousand Springs State Park might look like playing in the cool, clear streams, exploring the landscape, and ending the day watching the sunset at Ritter Island.

The water flowing from the cliffs around Ritter Island has quite the journey. Much of the water feeding the springs of the Thousand Springs area travels underground through the Eastern Snake River Plain Aquifer. In some parts of the aquifer, groundwater can take decades or even centuries to travel to the Thousand Springs area before emerging as springs.

One park. 1,000 reasons to love it.💧💙
