Last Tuesday, May 19th, students and instructors from the Criminal Justice Program of the “Public Service Academy” volunteered to help with the spring clean-up at our Lodge.

We would like to extend a big thank you to Instructors Mr. Wood and Mr. Taylor & Students Zach Cunningham, Tyler Marth, Jaxson Stewart, and Scott Eisenhour who worked hard cleaning-up and installing bird netting in the picnic pavilion.

“PSA” students are learning about the many areas of opportunity for careers in Police Services. They are the next generation of law enforcement professionals.

We are getting ready for the Membership picnic in June and the “Fellowship of Christian Athletes” week-long Camp at the Lodge grounds and buildings in July. The FCA Camp are for Boys and Girls ages 8-14.

Laying of the Carnations

On Thursday May 14, 2026, representatives from our Lodge delivered the “Carnations” from the Police Week Memorial Service to grave sites and memorials of the fallen heroes. The “Carnations” were blessed by Fr. Steve before they were distributed. Each carnation was placed with a prayer at every grave or memorial site. We have continued this tradition after each service over the years.

The white carnation symbolizes a good life and career. The red dot symbolizes the blood shed for the community.
