Wainscoting in the study completed where it goes up against wood framed walls.

Everyday we march a little closer to completion. Starting to move some furniture pieces into the upper bedrooms.

Much more will be placed prior to our September 12th event.

Beautiful morning at Wilton!

Nothing pretty, but getting started on downstairs woodwork.

Putting up wainscoting in study & dining room on wood framed walls first. This job is what I’d call “low hanging fruit.” When I get to the brick walls, it becomes a little more challenging.

Tile roof install completed. Next step is to wire brush the surface and apply a coat of rust converter before applying roofing paint.

Things are coming together. This is a small hanging corner cupboard piece together with an old small 4 panel door, pine for framing, and excess trim to accent the top and bottom.

The welcome sign is all Diane. But so is the corner cupboard.

Using up the last of my metal roofing tiles from the Taylor House that I took down in 2020.

Wish I hadn’t sold any. I could have done another roof!
