Last week, some members headed to the Stanley cabins for a little summer adventure! From time spent by the river and lake to pizza, s’mores, and a cozy bonfire at night, it was the perfect mix of exploring, relaxing, and making memories.

We’re so glad we got to share a few days of fun, laughter, and connection together!

As we say goodbye to our summer intern, Daniela, we asked her what she’s been up to at the Senior Connection and what she’ll take away from her experience.

This summer, Daniela spent time with our Connection Club, our memory care program for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She helped create activities, worked on puzzles, shared music, and most importantly, built meaningful connections with our clients.

She also joined our caregivers in clients’ homes, helping provide companionship and connection, and spent time helping with our Meals on Wheels program.

When asked what she’s learned this summer, Daniela shared something that really captures what the Senior Connection is all about: “Seeing our clients happy makes me happy.”

We’re so grateful for all the kindness, energy, and care Daniela brought to the Senior Connection this summer. Thank you for being part of our team, Daniela! We’ll miss having you around and know you’ll continue to make a difference wherever you go. 💙

It was so great to get together, enjoy some delicious food, and spend time with our community. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special!

A big thank you to the Hunger Coalition and the Blaine County Charitable Fund for partnering with us to kick off this community picnic. We loved spending the afternoon with you all!
