The Haines pool will be closed tomorrow for Presidents’ Day! Next Monday Stephanie will be teacher water aerobics on Mondays!! (As well as her usual Wednesday / Friday classes. HDST is offering half off masters for the remainder of the season! Thanks everybody! See you Wednesday!!

Evening Haines! Due to the weather the pool will be closed tomorrow. Swim practice will be cancelled. On a positive note, some of you may have noticed the pool lights on over the weekend and after 12 hours of power washing the decks and locker rooms are clean and ready for a normal schedule on Wednesday!

Hi Haines! Normal hours at the pool today. Swim team schedule continues as usual. We are closed Wednesday/thursday/friday/saturday/sunday. See everyone back for normal schedule on Monday. If you think you might have things in the lost and found please come take a look. We will also be giving all the lockers a good clean. If you have a lock on a locker please make sure it’s in good shape 🙂 hope everyone has a fabulous holiday.

The pool will reopen at 2 o’clock today. It is COLD. The sauna is on and hot. The pool will be much closer to normal operating temperature by tomorrow. Dolphins practice will resume Monday! Have a great weekend.

Attention pool users: unfortunately the pool will not reopen for tomorrow. The chlorine is still too high and while we do have chemicals that will manually bring the chlorine down, we have to use a lot of it and it didn’t make sense to do that just prior to the maintenance closure and draining. Please spread the word. Friends of the pool has been notified. We look forward to reopening Nov 1st.
