Today was a beautiful day for a ribbon cutting here in Haleyville! The Mayor and City Council plus County Commission Chair were excited to join the team at Riddle and Rune as they officially opened their doors to the public.

It’s always a great moment to see new entrepreneurs choosing to set up shop right here in our city. Please join us in wishing them great success!

Haleyville City Board of Education Place 1

The qualifying period for Haleyville City Board of Education, Place 1 has officially ended.

We had two candidates qualify for the position:

• Robert "Bobby" Crook

• Beth Hughes McAlpine

The election will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Please note that only registered voters who reside within the Haleyville City School District located in Winston County are eligible to vote in this election.

This election is an important opportunity for citizens to help shape the future of our schools and our community. We encourage all eligible voters to make plans to participate on Election Day.
