Team Sheeper raised $15,875! I would like to personally thank all of the bike clubs who participated in the , this year! Several clubs fundraised thousands of dollars for the work of Abundant Grace Coastside Worker with our employment programming for the homeless community. But one club stood out above the rest: Team Sheeper raised over $15,000 this year and they had a great team ride, and we thank them and lift them up for their enthusiasm and generosity! Thank you !

Meet Mary, one of our Flower Squad Apprentices. We have seen Mary flourish over the last 3 years. When we met, she had been living on the streets and couch surfing for a number of years. After a long process of working with us and on her housing and mental health journey, she is now housed in Redwood City! Mary is a ball of energy and light, a true force of nature! It has been beautiful to see her transform and to see her fully engaging in life. If you are part of our Flower Subscriptions - Mary is one of the folks behind the scenes making those beautiful bouquets! 🌼

Team Sheeper has been part of the Bike Hut Classic from every angle, as a sponsor, a fundraising team, and a group of riders who truly believe in our mission. They have supported the Bike Hut for years.

This year, they raised over $15,800 through their fundraising efforts, which helps us create meaningful employment opportunities and build community for those experiencing homelessness on the Coastside.

To everyone on Team Sheeper, thank you for showing up, spreading the word, and investing in this work year after year. Your partnership goes far beyond race day, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you in our corner. Here’s to many more miles together. 🚲

It was another amazing weekend for The Bike Hut Classic 2026! We’re officially up to 315 riders, and there’s one week to go to get to 400. Will you join us and help us meet our goal?!

On the fundraising front, Peter Heller of Allez, Allez, Allez! is our top fundraising individual, bringing in an impressive $7575, while Team Sheeper leads the bike clubs at $15,875! WOW!

In other news, we had a wonderful Women’s Ride on Saturday (pictured above and below). I even dusted off my gravel bike and happily joined some amazing females - some out for the social vibes and others who are competitive cyclists (shout out to Pen Velo's Norma Hilton, a triple event 2026 USA Cycling Masters National Champion!), all of us in support of Abundant Grace! We started the morning with yoga thanks to Tracey White of Coastside Yoga Collective, then hit Tunitas. Speedy Team Sheeper was out on a "Tunitas Yo-Yo Ride" to hit the Bike Hut Classic segment, so we saw them going DOWN on our way UP, AND again at the top as we were enjoying some very special popsicles by Moss + Wonder. It was an absolute blast! Thank you to all who came out to stretch and ride.

Meanwhile, we are very close to hitting $85k in our overall fundraising!!! What a tremendous showing of support for Abundant Grace! We are humbled and ever grateful.
