Coastside Hope Coastside Hope offers basic life necessities
with dignity and hope to all San Mateo County
mid-coast residents. We help over 3,000 neighbors every year.

Coastside Hope’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for all our neighbors and strengthen the well-being of our entire community by turning necessities for today into opportunities for tomorrow. We are designated by San
Mateo County as the primary community
assistance agency for our service area. Our
ongoing services are designed to prevent
homelessness by meeting basic life needs for
food,

clothing, shelter, and fundamental
utilities such as electricity. Coastside Hope does not discriminate based
on race, religion, nationality, gender identity,
or any other category. We serve all low-income
persons living on the San Mateo County
mid-coast, an area stretching from Montara to
Half Moon Bay. Our client base consists mostly
of the working poor, employed in agriculture,
fishing, and the service industry. We also serve
low-income seniors, the homeless, and the
fallen middle class.

Wowsers! Not really a word, but the feeling once we saw that both Coastside Hope and Coastside Gives exceeded our respective goals!

Coastside Hope is so grateful for the 348 donors for contributing during Coastside Gives to ensure our neighbors are supported and to strengthen the overall well-being of our community.

Our rugged community reflects our rugged coastline, and we really step up to support our community when times are tough!

Coastside Gives AND Coastside Hope are sooooooooo close to our respective goals! Coastside Hope is just $579 short of reaching the same goal of $120,000 as we had last year. And Coastside Gives is just under $43,000 short of reaching their same goal of $2 million.

A donation to Coastside Hope helps both efforts!

The portal will remain open until 9 PM PDT on Monday. If you can help us reach our goal and give to any one of the 78 nonprofits that do great work here on the Coast to help us reach our $2M collective goal, we all would be very grateful!
