We hope everyone throughout the Town of Halfmoon is enjoying a wonderful summer and finding some time to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy everything our community has to offer.

From our parks and trails to fantastic community events and all the little moments in between, there’s plenty to enjoy right here at home.

🎤🎶🎵🎼🎸 GOOD MUSIC. GREAT COMPANY. A SUMMER NIGHT IN HALFMOON!

Join us tonight, Friday, August 7, from 6–8 p.m. at Halfmoon Town Park for Groovin’ on the Green, featuring Joe's Boys Music and their Good Time Rock ’n Pop!

This free outdoor concert is presented by Halfmoon Celebrations Events in conjunction with the Town of Halfmoon. 🤝

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, dinner, snacks, and dancing shoes for an evening of live music under the summer sky. Donations are greatly appreciated, and a 50/50 raffle will benefit Halfmoon Celebrations events.

🍗 Halfmoon, tomorrow is your night to take dinner off your to-do list! 👏👏

Miller's Backyard BBQ will be serving up a complete — and DELICIOUS — meal from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Abele Park, with proceeds supporting the Halfmoon Character Counts Program and its great work throughout our community.

For $20, dinner includes:
• ¼ BBQ chicken
• 6 oz. pulled pork
• Baked potato
• Coleslaw
• Roll
• Add 8 oz. of mac and cheese for $5.

Skip the cooking this Wednesday, August 5, and enjoy a complete Miller's Backyard BBQ dinner while helping support programs that strengthen our community.

For $20, dinner includes ¼ chicken, 6 ounces of pulled pork, a baked potato, coleslaw and a roll. And you can also add 8 ounces of mac and cheese for just $5.

Proceeds benefit Character Counts and help support camp scholarships, food pantries, veterans and other important local needs.

Save the date and bring your appetite! Miller's Backyard BBQ is coming to Abele Park on August 5 for an afternoon of great food, friendly faces and support for an important community cause.

Please be advised that Fellows Road is closed at Heirloom Lane and Sandy Pointe Drive due to road damage caused by the recent heavy rain. Access is currently limited to local traffic only.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and to be extra cautious while traveling throughout the area, as wet conditions and storm-related damage may create additional hazards.

Please slow down, allow extra time, and use added care around any affected areas.
