💧 💧 SAVE THE DATE: Stormwater Utility Fee Billing Changes

The City of Hallandale Beach invites residents and property owners to attend an upcoming informational session to learn about changes to how the existing stormwater utility fee will be billed beginning in Tax Year 2027.

These sessions will provide an overview of the changes, answer questions, and offer an opportunity to speak directly with the project team. Property owners attending in person will also be able to look up their preliminary annual assessment amount.

Please note: This is not a new fee. The informational sessions will explain what stormwater is, why the billing method is changing, and what residents and property owners can expect moving forward.

Our Juneteenth Freedom Festival kicked off at noon, and you can already feel the joy, love, and sense of community all around. ❤️🖤💚

Today, communities across the nation commemorate Juneteenth — honoring the end of slavery, celebrating Black freedom and independence, recognizing the resilience of generations past, and uplifting the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans. It is truly a celebration of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

There’s still time to join us! Until 6 p.m., Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park & Dream Center is filled with music, laughter, delicious food and drinks, family activities, and the spirit of togetherness that makes this celebration so special.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been lifted for those affected in Golden Isles.

The water has been tested, received satisfactory results, and is safe for use and consumption. Questions? Please call (954) 457-1632.

🚧 Water Service Interruption & Boil Water Advisory – Golden Isles

The City of Hallandale Beach is responding to a 6-inch water main break on Sunset Drive caused by a broken tapping saddle.

As a result, water service is currently unavailable for properties located on:

• Sunset Drive
• Palm Oleander Drive
• Hibiscus Drive

Public Works crews are actively working to repair the break and restore service as quickly and safely as possible.

⚠️ Boil Water Advisory
Once water service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for affected properties until water quality testing confirms the system is safe for normal use.

Residents in the affected area should:
• Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes.
• Use bottled water when possible until the advisory is lifted.

We appreciate your patience as crews work to complete repairs. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
