We’re thrilled to share that the Lavaca Swimming Pool has been awarded a $5,000 grant through Fayette Electric Cooperative’s Community Reinvestment Grant Program!

A huge thank you to Fayette Electric Cooperative for investing in our community and supporting our mission to create a safer, healthier environment for everyone. We’re incredibly grateful for our local partners who help make these opportunities possible!

Together, we’re making a splash and building a safer community! 🏊‍♀️💙

💧 Fayette Electric Cooperative is proud to support organizations that make a difference in our communities!

Through our Community Reinvestment Grant Program, Fayette EC recently awarded a $5,000 grant to Lavaca Swimming Pool to help expand water safety education, swimming lessons, lifeguard training, and wellness programs for residents of Lavaca County and surrounding communities.

Best of all, these locally reinvested funds do not come from member electric rates. Instead, the program utilizes eligible unclaimed capital credits that would otherwise be turned over to the state, allowing Fayette EC to reinvest those dollars back into the communities we serve.

💙🌊 As We Wrap Up Another Amazing Swim Season 🌊💙

As we slide into the school year and close out our 2026 swim season, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this year so special!

To our incredible guests, dedicated aquatic team, volunteers, supporters, and the entire community — thank you for your continued support, your smiles, your laughter, and for helping make another season at the pool a success. Your love for this facility is what keeps it thriving! 💦

We also want to take a special moment to recognize and thank our Facility Manager, Jennifer Hagan, as she says goodbye after 10 wonderful years of service to our facility.

Jennifer’s dedication, leadership, and passion have helped shape the pool into the community gathering place it is today. From countless swim lessons and programs to improvements, events, and memories made along the way — her impact will be felt for years to come.

Please join us in celebrating a successful 2026 swim season and wishing Jennifer the very best in her next chapter. 💙

As the summer season winds down, it’s the perfect time to celebrate! We are still booking private parties and events for the rest of August.

We’re open for regular business hours on all days not currently reserved for private events. (August 9- is the last day of the public swim season) Plus, we’ve added some special after-hours night swim opportunities you won't want to miss!
