What a beautiful morning at the riverfront with Spring bloomsโ€ฆ. Beach Plums & Viburnums are popping.

After removing hundreds of daffodils from in from of City Hall with the Old Codgersโ€™ efforts this morning, many bulbs found a second home to enjoy among the native shrub island at Granite City Park.

Hallowell's downtown shoreline is eroding from heavy rain events and severe flooding. The City of Hallowell engaged an expert engineering team to develop a riverbank stabilization plan using nature-based approaches. This workshop is an opportunity to learn about the project and provide feedback on stabilization alternatives. Come lend your voice -- and enjoy strawberry shortcake during discussions! ๐Ÿž๏ธ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฐ
