• Arrive Early: Due to limited parking, we strongly encourage everyone to head to the stadium early!
• Overflow Parking: Due to Junior High Fieldhouse construction, please use the overflow parking on the **east side of the JH campus** if the main lots are full.
• Guest Drop-Off: Drivers are welcome to drop off seniors and guests needing mobility assistance along the stadium drive. For safety and smooth traffic flow, **no parking or standing is permitted in the travel lanes** nearest the stadium.

Serving as a cornerstone of the Hallsville ISD Technology Department since 1998, Kenton Simpson provides the critical data architecture that keeps the entire district running seamlessly. As our specialist in system integrations, Kenton expertly manages the complex, behind-the-scenes data synchronization between Skyward and core instructional platforms like Google, Clever, and dozens of third-party systems. His meticulous work ensures that student accounts, class rosters, and administrative records are continuously accurate, secure, and ready for teachers and students without interruption. With nearly three decades of dedicated service to Hallsville ISD, Kenton's deep institutional knowledge, technical precision, and unwavering reliability make him an indispensable leader in our department and an invaluable asset to the district.

We appreciate Kenton for all that he does behind the scenes.

The Honorary State FFA Degree is the highest honor a state FFA association can award. It recognizes adults—such as agricultural teachers, parents, community leaders, and school representatives—who have provided exceptional service, long-term commitment, and outstanding support to agricultural education and the FFA above the local chapter level. Superintendent John Martin was recognized by our chapter as being a proud supporter of the Hallsville FFA and the mission of the blue & gold which is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Our officers felt that Mr. Martin embodies the blue & gold earning him his Honorary Lonestar Degree. This prestigious award places him among the other elite supporters and recipients earning the award this year.

Eleven Hallsville FFA officers and four advisors traveled to the 98th Texas FFA State Convention in Fort Worth, Texas, from July 6–10, where they celebrated the chapter's many accomplishments while participating in one of the organization's most important leadership events. The Hallsville FFA chapter was named a Top 25 Gold-Ranked National Chapter, earning a place at the National FFA Convention. They also received a 3-Star National Chapter rating, the highest rating a chapter can receive.

During the convention, members proudly represented Hallsville FFA by casting votes in the election of the 2026–2027 Texas FFA State Officer Team, the National FFA Officer Candidate, and the Talent Team that will represent Texas at the National FFA Convention this October.

Addisyn Horn was the Area VI’s John Justin Standard of the West State Finalist and received a $1,000 Scholarship. Addisyn was also the proud recipient of the Jim Bob Norman Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate Texas FFA Scholarship in the amount of $10,000. We are so proud of Addisyn and are wishing her the best at Texas A&M College Station!

We had eight (8) students to receive the Lone Star FFA Degree, which is the highest degree of membership that the Texas FFA Association can bestow upon its members.

Our academic UIL team had quite the year. For the 18th consecutive year, they were District Sweepstakes Champions. They were Regional Sweepstakes Champion runners up. They received team honors as well as individual rankings.

The Team and Coach Mike Clay were recognized at the recent board meeting for all of their hard work and accomplishments.

Kylie Cotton was recognized at the recent board meeting for placing 3rd IN THE NATION in Lesson Plan and Delivery in Career and Technical Education, at the 2026 Educators Rising National Conference in June. She advanced to the national competition after winning in area and state levels in the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE). After many flight delays and changes, Kylie and Mrs. Seal finally made their way to Portland, Oregon to compete with over 3,300 students from across the country.

Kylie had to plan the lesson, deliver the lesson to a class on campus, go in front of a panel of judges to reflect on her lesson and what she would do differently to improve.

We are Bobcat Proud of Miss Cotton, and we know that she will make an amazing teacher.
