Reminder that your Summer Reading Certificates are here! 📚🏆

We want to give one more huge shoutout and thank you to everyone who joined us for Summer Reading this year! From interactive story time and no drama llamas to the Museum of Natural and Cultural history and all the little moments in between, you helped make this summer with the library so much fun. ☀️💛

If you participated in the program, your Certificate of Completion is waiting for you at the library! Stop by and pick yours up if you haven’t already. 🏆📖

And while you’re here, check out our new Garden Gallery! 🌱🎨 Kids can grab some crayons or markers and create a drawing of their favorite plant, flower, or garden to add to our growing community display. 🌻🪴🌿

That’s a wrap on Summer Reading 2026! 📚🌻

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, participated in our program, read with us, and helped make this summer so special. We loved spending the summer learning, growing, and having fun together! 💛

And of course, we can’t forget our little library bees buzzing around the wall! 🐝 Each bee was named after a kiddo who joined us for Summer Reading, so seeing all those little bees together is a pretty sweet reminder of everyone who helped make our summer special. Stop by and find your bee on the wall!🌻📚

🐝🌼 A BIG thank you to the Museum of Natural and Cultural History for joining us for Summer Reading last weekend!

The kids had so much fun learning all about pollinators and the important role they play in our ecosystems. 🦋🌻 From bees to butterflies and beyond, we loved getting a closer look at the tiny creatures that help our world grow!

Thank you for bringing such a fun, educational program to our library and helping us Plant a Seed & Read this summer! 🌱📚💛

Join us Saturday, August 8th at 11 AM at Halsey Public Library for our Summer Reading Ice Cream Party! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who made it to today’s Planting Party! 🌱💚 We already wrapped up our second Summer Reading Program celebration, and it was so much fun seeing everyone leave with a new plant friend.

If you have any questions or concerns about caring for your new plant, you know where to find me! I keep everything we need for repotting at the library, so don’t hesitate to stop by if you need a little help when the time comes.

And please send pictures of their growth—I can’t wait to watch your new plant friends thrive! 🌿📸

The Halsey Public library is thrilled to officially unveil our brand new donor appreciation plaque. This beautiful installation honors the incredible businesses whose generous donations made our pollinator bed project a reality. 🦋🌻🐝

Thank you to everyone who kicked off Day 1 of our Summer Reading Program with us! Caesar the No Drama Llama is clearly a community favorite. ♥️

We also want to offer a heartfelt apology for our late start today due to a scheduling miscommunication. Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and for keeping the drama low…just like Caesar. 😉🦙

While we waited, you made the absolute best of it! We loved seeing everyone creating colorful chalk art, painting tiny masterpieces, and soaking up the beautiful sunshine together. 🎨☀️

Thank you again for making Day 1 so special, even with a little bump in the road. We’re incredibly grateful for this wonderful community and can’t wait to see you all again next Saturday! ✨🩷
