If you are interested in learning about how the NY Forward program will play out in the Village of Hamburg, please join us for the first Local Planning Committee (LPC) Meeting, scheduled for August 11th at 6:00 pm at the Hamburg High School Cafeteria.

This will be a working meeting of the LPC, but aspiring project applicants and interested residents are encouraged to attend!

Progress continues at the new water tower site. Workers are now welding together the pieces of the "cone" around the tank's base. After welding all the cone pieces together, they will then weld several rings of six-foot curved wall panels on top of the cone. At some point, scheduled for August, the tank will be raised from its current location at the base to the top of the tower. Once at the top, the tank's dome construction and additional welding will occur. It will all look unfinished until the tank is painted. The painting is scheduled for the fall. Thank you to the workers on site who are making this project happen!

Round 2! 🚲 This Thursday, July 30th, join us for another pedal party in Village of Hamburg ! This is a free, family friendly slow roll through the village, starting & ending at Coyote Café Hamburg . The scenic ride’s route passes through:

🛝 Kenton-Brookwood Park / Memorial Park / Highland Grove Playground
⛲️ Village Swim Center / Parkside Park / Peace Park
🦆 Centennial Gardens / Anna Mee Bacon Bird Sanctuary

We are asking riders to bring a non-perishable food item to help support Hamburg Food Pantries. Enjoy post-ride refreshments at Coyote Cafe.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) is holding a public meeting for a proposed project in the Village of Hamburg. The project involves intersection improvements at Lake and Main Street in the Village.

If you are interested in learning more, please attend the public meeting. The meeting will be held at the Hamburg High School Cafeteria on Wednesday, July 22nd from 5PM-7PM.

🎉Big news for the Village of Hamburg!🎉

Last week, Governor Kathy Hochul announced that the Village of Hamburg was awarded $4.5 million through the State's New York Forward Program. The Village was one of two communities in the Western New York Region to be awarded this funding.

We are excited to see what this economic development funding will do for our village!
