Mahjong, Day 1 is in the books. Our minds are blown! 🤯 Thanks to Shann and McKenzie and Kandi for assisting! They have all played before and had a better idea than I did just going by the manual. We are ordering a third set so that we can have 12 players each Tuesday and Wednesday. We are STILL beginners, so it's not too late to join! It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see what tomorrow's group brings to our tables!

As many librarians know, Summer Reading at the library is very similar to VBS at churches. A lot of planning, making of props, and sometimes injuries take place. Mrs. Holly was our first casualty this summer. Mrs. Mary Cate ran to the rescue, broke out the new first aid kit, and bandaged her up.

Don't forget!!

June 10th is ACL'S Family Storytime at the Hamburg Square gazebo. Mrs. Mary Cate or Mrs. Holly will be reading stories to kids, singing, and so much more. It is not just for 0-4, like Wee Widdle is. It is for all ages of kids.

Today was our last day of Wee Widdle Wednesday until the fall. Caty read a book about a cow that thinks it is a unicorn, and then read a book about a dinosaur. For the last day of Wees, Mary Cate had her dad come out of balloon tying retirement. Mr. Curtis Clatworthy came down south to tie balloons, which he learned how to do when she was little. The wees actually sat still and watched him. Thank you, Mr. Curtis, for showing love and making smiles on these wees faces.

Family Story Time will begin June 10th at the Hamburg Square Gazebo from 10am -11am.
