Dear Hamburg Family and Friends,
The Hamburg School District is mourning the loss of Mr. Michael Cox. He was a devoted staff member that has served the district for over 18 years in both the Middle and High Schools. Mr. Cox was a beloved member of our staff and community. He was a constant in our hallways and buildings. He truly was dedicated to our students and loved them very much.
Mr. Cox was a Hamburg Alumnus, graduating from Hamburg High School in 1978. He was a proud LION. His love and care for our students will be greatly missed . We pray for his family and countless friends whose lives have been touched by Mr. Cox. We know those closest to him feel the magnitude of this loss the greatest. Our thoughts and prayers will continue.

As school starts back tomorrow, that means our buses are back on the roads! Always stop when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended. It’s the law, and it keeps our students safe as they get on and off the bus. 💜🦁
