The Amsdell Bridge strikes again. Luckily the driver is OK. Amsdell Road will be shut down between Orchard Ave and Brundage Street for the foreseeable future.

🔥 Training the Way We Fight 🔥

Today, members of Lake Shore Fire took part in hands-on flashover training at Newton Abbott Fire Company. This critical training allows firefighters to recognize and react to rapidly changing fire conditions, helping keep both our crews and our community safe.

2nd Assistant Chief Garrett Hileman, along with Lieutenant Dylan Zielinski and Sergeant Jason Haley, put in the work refining their skills and gaining valuable experience in extreme fire behavior scenarios.

We’re proud of their dedication to staying sharp and continuously improving. Training like this ensures we’re always ready when it matters most.
