This introductory session provides a comprehensive look into the work of Crisis Services. Attendees will learn about the history and evolution of the agency, the wide array of programs available and how individuals and organizations can connect with each. The training also includes a walk-through of the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, highlighting its development and impact on national crisis response. Recent statistics related to 988 utilization will be shared. Additionally, participants will be guided through how to engage with Crisis Services' online chat platform, including scenarios where it may be most useful. This session is suitable for community members, students, service providers, or anyone interested in understanding the scope of services offered.
