The Town of Hamburg Police Department is investigating an incident that began in the Walmart parking lot on Southwestern Boulevard and ended when a vehicle struck a commercial building at 5225 Southwestern Boulevard, injuring a woman. Anyone who witnessed this incident or may have information is requested to contact Detective Jason Nappo at (716) 648-5111 ext. 2623

We’re in the midst of another power outage this afternoon affecting a large portion of the town and Village of Hamburg.

Please remember that a traffic signal without power should be treated as a four-way stop. It makes little sense to drive at full speed through an intersection with a blacked-out signal facing each direction!
