HAMDEN FATHERS BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SUMMER ACADEMY

Where: Bassett Park

When: Week of JULY 14 – JULY 18, 2025

Time: 9:00AM – 12:00PM

• Drop off between 8:45am – 9:00am
• Pick Up between 12:00pm Noon

Cost: $80 per player
• Early Bird Discount = $60 (if signed up by June 30)

The HFBSA Kids’ Academy runs daily from 9:00 - 12:00, July 14th-18th and consists of organized and high-energy instructional stations. Students are grouped according to age and skill level and will travel through the different activities with their assigned teammates. Small groups ensure individualized attention and instruction in fundamental baseball and softball skills. The five-day format will emphasize individual position play, hitting fundamentals, and live game experiences. * Enrollment is limited to ensure personal attention in each and every aspect of the game, so sign up soon!
(Warning: No PS-4s or X-Boxes permitted).

The HFBSA Academy will provide boys and girls ages 6-12 a great opportunity to improve their skills by learning from experienced coaches as well as, current varsity and junior varsity players from Hamden High School and Hamden Hall.

Players Receive: Quality instruction from experienced coaches and current high school varsity players; a combination of skill development and game experiences; game situation talks and discussions geared to their level; Players will also receive a
Camp T-shirt and a Friday Lunch Party.

What to bring: Each camper should bring his or her own equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats or sneakers, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers can bring their own gear.
The league has some helmets that can be provided and some bats that can be used.

Important: Campers should bring their own water bottle/jug labeled with his/her name no sharing of water bottles will be permitted.
All checks should be made payable to the Hamden Fathers

Or In-person registration can be done at the Bassett Field Snack Bar Mondays between 6pm – 730pm. (Cash/Check Only)
