K’la now has her own Pilates studio at NXTVN, and I recently had the opportunity to take one of her classes — absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was welcoming, the instruction was excellent, and it is definitely beginner friendly for anyone looking to start their wellness journey.

Whether you’re just starting the college search process or trying to figure out how to pay for college, these FREE workshops are designed to help families feel informed, prepared, and empowered.

For more than 23 years, Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Programs, Inc. has worked to ensure that students and families across Connecticut have access to college, career, and financial aid opportunities — and because of your support, this year has been one of our most impactful yet.

As part of the Great Give 2026, we are working toward our $50,000 campaign goal, and we need your help TODAY.

🎓 Supported 400+ high school students with college access, advising, financial aid, and postsecondary planning services

💡 Launched the FutureHER: Women in AI & Emerging Tech Program, empowering young women to explore careers in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, and emerging technologies

📚 Advocated for and supported awareness around the Finish Line Program, helping Connecticut students persist and complete college

🏫 Trained 100+ school counselors and education professionals statewide through FAFSA and financial aid professional development initiatives

🤝 Expanded partnerships with institutions like University of New Haven and Albertus Magnus College to increase opportunities, exposure, and access for students

🎪 Hosted a large-scale college fair serving more than 500 high school students, connecting youth directly with colleges, universities, and career pathways

👨‍👩‍👧 Continued providing direct support to students and families navigating FAFSA completion, scholarships, college applications, and the transition to college life
