I just learned of this great organization in our area. They build and donate beds to any child in need of a bed. From 3 years old to 17 years old. In Madison and St. Clair Counties. They also collect new twin-size bedding so that every child has a set of sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. If you have never heard of them look them up. If you are interested in Donating let me know. Please share!

Scam warning - I have an elder customer who said Visa called him to let him know there were some fraud charges on his account and he of course confirmed his information (date of birth and Social Security) - It all sounded ligament. Until he had a question because we had recently run his budget payment and they didn't list that on his recent charges - He called the 800 number on the back of his card and found out It was not VISA that called him earlier, it was a scam. No such charges were made on his card. So sadly this homebound individual has just shared all his private info with someone. I recommend if you are contacted by anyone, do not confirm any information, tell them you're going to hang up, and then call the 800 number on the back of your credit card. If you have had true fraud on your account they will direct you to the right place. Don't believe the person on the phone. 😞😔😕🙁🤬🤬🤬🤬😡🤬😡

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federal program, administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, to help eligible households pay for home energy services. Income eligibility is based on income from the last 30 days.
The number of propane customers receiving benefits from LIHEAP is about the same as in the prior year. With the economic downturn and higher unemployment caused by Covid-19, there may be more propane customers who aren’t aware of LIHEAP who might qualify but haven’t applied. Local agencies are able to work with customers remotely to take applications and receive documentation. Please help us promote the LIHEAP program among your vendors and customers.
For households that have already applied and received a regular LIHEAP benefit earlier in the program year, but are now without fuel or in imminent threat (fuel supply is less than or equal to 25% of the total delivered fuel storage capacity), they should contact their local agency to apply for Reconnection Assistance (RA).

For the safety of our employees and our customers, we will be closing our office to all walk-ins from Tuesday, March 17 through March 31. We will continue to deliver bulk gas to our customers, as usual. We ask our customers to keep a distance from our drivers. They will make delivery and leave tickets, but all payments will need to be either paid online, mailed in or paid over the phone. We will continue to monitor the situation. We do ask all customers to check their tank regularly, as out of gas situations will be much more complicated.
