Minor flooding and road closures are expected as a result of the coming storms over the next several days. The following links will provide information on road closures:

• County Road Closures:
https://www.countyofglenn.net/government/departments/public-works/road-bridge-maintenance/road-conditions
• CalTrans Highway Conditions
https://roads.dot.ca.gov/

Remember, it is illegal and dangerous to drive past road closures. Don't be responsible for a firefighter having to leave a family gathering to rescue you from a flooded roadway this Christmas.

Engine 5105 came across a dog in the fire area and thought it was lost. The dog spent hours with them while they attempted to locate the owners. They feed and loved on her. She was so very sweet and loving. They eventually found the owners and discovered that the dog was a guardian dog. This dogs job is to live outside and protect its flock! She ended up staying with the engine crew all night to watch over them!
